It took me months of rehabilitation — months of pain and uncertainty.

It felt like time had stretched itself, offering me a subtle invitation to pause and reflect. To contemplate what was truly important to me, and to seek alignment once and for all.

That’s when it hit me: behind layers of illusion, the "perfect life" I was living wasn’t so perfect.

There was an aching, empty heart and a crying soul. For the first time, I saw that I had been living to fulfill expectations — my own and those around me. In that moment, when I didn’t even know if and when I would walk again, I asked myself: "What about my dreams? When am I going to start living them?"

The Undoing

The truth is, deep down, I had always known there was more to experience and to see. But I never felt like I “had the time” to go after it. A life filled with magic and enchantment seemed too far from reality, like it belonged to another timeline.

The very fact that I couldn’t physically go anywhere became an opportunity to explore somewhere else — the depths of my soul where the hidden magic lay.

As I explored this unknown territory, I came across an enchanted world — a world that speaks the language of symbols and archetypes. The world of the collective unconscious and depth psychology, where the ancient wisdom of the soul truly can be found. I was learning so much, feeling so alive, it felt like I was exactly where I had always meant to be.

Until...

When the Light Seemed Near

Until something big hit me and I lost my ground again — but not just the ground this time, the whole world. I was traveling with my partner and my soul dog, Maia; it was the most beautiful trip of my life. It was the very first and only time Maia was on a kayak, we kayaked to a remote island, just the three of us. Maia played the entire day, she had so much fun — we all did.Going back home, we experienced what would become the most devastating event of my life. I remember a big storm forming, trees falling in front of us, and my only wish being to get home safely.
 
When we got home, Maia hopped out of the car and let out a small cry. A deep, cold, nauseating feeling hit me — I knew something was wrong.

We drove 12 hours to get to the closest vet. And when I handed her to the vet, tears came to my eyes. I felt like she was not coming back to us. She never did, not the same way she went in. A couple of hours later came the phone call that would change my life: the vet said there was internal bleeding, and they couldn’t figure out why.

Later, once they had her stable, they found the source — a ruptured spleen tumor. There was nothing to be done. She was not a candidate for surgery because it was too advanced. As I drove to the hospital to meet her, I couldn’t think, couldn’t even see straight. I just needed to feel her in my arms. When they brought her to me, I looked into her eyes, and I received: "Not today, not here, when you are ready."

When the Whole World Disappeared

That night, I started seeing portals — portals between worlds. They would open as an invitation for Maia to cross over, and I would kindly ask — not knowing exactly to whom — "please, not today." The portals would close, giving me another moment with her.

The next morning, Maia took me to a stunning lookout. With her in my arms, we just stopped time. As we sat by the ocean, a hummingbird stopped by and looked right into our eyes, as if saying, "there is always tomorrow." In that moment, Maia looked at me, and I knew she was ready to try to go home with us for a few more days. The drive back was a long one; I had mapped every vet along the way, in case things took a turn for the worse. She made it home and seemed comfortable enough. The next few days were a promise I had made to her — that I’d honor each and every day of life with her by going to a different park or spot in nature until her final breath.

And that’s how we spent our last days together. It was the most beautiful two weeks I’ve ever experienced, like there was nothing and no one else, just the two of us.

Every now and then, the portals would open again at night, and I’d beg, “not tonight,” and they would close again. Until one day, when I invited her to go for our daily walk and she said she couldn’t. That day, I knew it was our last day together. I knew it was her time; her physical body could no longer keep going. Instead of walking to the park, we drove to the river. She said her goodbye and met the vet.

The moment she transitioned, I felt my heart break. I could see the portal again, but this time I just said, “take care of her,” and asked all the other animals, guides, and spirits on the other side to welcome her, as I felt her soul leaving her body. It was beautiful and painful at the same time.

The Portals of the Other World

The next day, Maia visited me in a dream. She showed me she would return and sent me a date: “October.” Since it was already the end of September, I felt it wouldn’t be that year.

And with that, I let time pass — holding onto the hope that one day we’d be reunited.

The following days, weeks, months... I can’t remember much. Just dreams of her. Waking up in the middle of the night with my pillow covered in blood from nosebleeds. And the complete lack of strength to look outside again.

I could barely spend time with Amelia. She simply held space for me as I navigated the pain and grief.

The Depth of Grief

A couple of months had passed, and I started seeing portals again — but this time, not just portals: lights of varying colors. My dreams had become more real than ever. Every day, I experienced something “weird.” I couldn’t make sense of any of it. I didn’t even know where to begin; I just knew I needed help. I needed to heal.

I decided to go to a retreat to take care of myself. On my way there, as the airplane flew over the ocean, I felt her presence. It was a mix of emotions flowing out of me and the feeling of our connection — a remembrance of that last day we sat by the ocean together. Our connection grew stronger with each passing day at the retreat. I didn’t know how to explain it to anyone, but I could feel her presence more and more.

During a Reiki treatment at the retreat, I learned that Maia had chosen to stay with me energetically, helping me heal. Knowing that gave me hope — I could feel her love deep in every cell of my body. It was also then that I discovered the lights and colors I had been seeing were energy and Maia trying to communicate with me. That’s when it clicked, my intuitive gifts had awakened!

Returning home after the retreat felt like the beginning of a rebirth. In the few hours I was awake, I would see energy and portals; and in the hours asleep, I would see Maia, receive messages from spirit, and work in my dreams. That became my reality for several weeks.

Eventually, I had enough strength to begin some training. I wanted to learn how to master my own energy and heal myself. Little did I know that years later, I would be using energy work professionally.

From Grief to Remembrance

Following my first Reiki training, Amelia nudged me to attend an equestrian clinic. At that time, my relationship with Amelia was not in a good place. I had lost my confidence and I no longer knew how to relate with her. The accident and the grief had changed me and I knew it was time to heal our relationship and find a new way of working with her.

During that clinic, Amelia showed up in spirit, and with the help of an animal communicator, she shared that the accident was just the beginning of our journey together. That we were meant to explore something greater together, something much deeper than riding and training.

The clinic itself became another turning point in my journey. Over the few days there, I noticed the horses mirroring their humans — energetically, behaviorally, and even physically. They were speaking the same symbolic language I had learned through dream work and depth psychology.
There was so much happening beneath the surface. It was as if I could now see beyond the veil, beyond the physical world — seeing what others couldn’t.

Driving back home, it hit me: "That's what Amelia and I are meant to do together one day! To bring this deeper relational wisdom to others!"

From Healing to Clarity

Amelia then became my mentor. I started paying close attention to the mirroring she was offering me. Every single day was a new opportunity to learn more about my own relationship with myself, how to work with my energy, and, ultimately, how to lean into my shared lessons with Amelia.

The shared lessons would often come through challenges, but now I felt empowered to look at those challenges with new lens, and utilize them for mutual growth and healing. Amelia taught me how to truly and deeply understand animal mirroring. How to embody that wisdom. How to master my psychic abilities. And most of all, how to become the person I was meant to be by alchemizing my grief into my soul’s true gifts.

The more I leaned into our relationship, the more she taught me how to bridge the worlds — the physical and the non-physical, the seen and the unseen — and how to feel and work with the alchemy woven into everyday life.

It was during that process that Maia nudged me to explore an animal communication training. I was excited by the idea of deepening my communication with her and Amelia and said, "Yes, this will be fun!" — again, without any idea that later this would become exactly how I would help others.

Following my North

Over the following months, I continued exploring energy reading, dream work, divine feminine awakening, the collective unconscious, and depth psychology — while completing my certification in Animal Communication and Animal Energy®.

That’s when I started embodying a multidimensional lens, constantly weaving the more physical knowledge such as science (animal behavior, comparative psychology, and ecology - PhD), with the new foundations of symbolism and the energetic realms.

Time for Multidimensionality

In October 2023, one year after Maia’s transition, I officially launched Alchemy Queen. It was time for my full rebirth. I started working with women, supporting their spiritual journeys through energy reading and divine feminine awakening.

It didn’t take long, however, for animals to start showing up in my sessions. They would often come with physical and/or behavioral misalignments or present some relational challenges. I quickly noticed that those “issues” were actually shared lessons, much like invitations, for their humans, for mutual growth, healing, and evolution. Just like the mirroring patterns I’ve first observed in the equestrian clinic, and the very same mirroring patterns Amelia had taught me to read.

That’s when I developed my Animal Mirror Protocol — a tool I continue to use today to identify root causes of behavioral, emotional, relational, and physical misalignments and their connections with the shared lessons between humans and their animals. 

The rebirth

It was now 2024, and I had just received a message. I woke up to a voice saying, "Maia is here, and she will find you." I jumped out of bed with a racing heart. I had never felt that excited. I couldn’t believe it was finally happening! But how? How would I find her?

Then I remembered: "Oh wait, the voice said she will find me!" Exactly one week later, Maia appeared in my dreams. She showed herself as a goat — I could only see her face: a small white face with a heart-shaped mark on her nose, just as she had when she was a dog.

At the time, we had just bought our property, and I was looking for goats. I had always wanted goats and thought they would be great companions for Amelia. One day, I got a message from a breeder just a few blocks from our home. I went for a visit, extremely excited. But when I arrived, I felt disappointed — none of the goats were her. I decided to wait and observe for a few more days.

Another week passed, and Maia visited me again — this time carrying flowers on her coat, showing that she would come with three colors. She would be a tricolor goat. I took note of that and kept waiting. The next night, just before going to bed, the breeder texted me to say that one of her goats had given birth. I asked, "Is it a female?" — as if I already knew. She confirmed. Then I asked, "What color?" She said, "Tricolor". 

 Reunion Across Lifetimes

Bringing DeeDee home was simply magical. When Amelia saw her, there was an instant sense of familiarity — a familiar energy filling the air.

The very next day, the two of them took me on a multidimensional journey, and I instantly knew: DeeDee wanted to be part of Alchemy Queen too. The circle now felt complete – although the true journey was just beginning.

Since then, Amelia and DeeDee have been co-creating every layer of this sacred space — from the foundations of Alchemy Queen itself, to the offerings, teachings, and energetic architecture of the Animal Alchemy Academy. Alchemy Queen became the living field where this remembrance and deep awakening unfolds, where anything and everything becomes possible through the alchemy of life.

When I look back at all the transformation that Maia/DeeDee and Amelia brought into my life, I can see now how it was all part of a greater, magical plan — aligning my path with my soul’s purpose, finding our shared purpose, and anchoring that frequency on Earth to share it with others.

Together, we have learned to weave our shared frequency into form — co-creating a multidimensional reality where guidance flows across realms, timelines merge, and new paths unfold. This true embodiment became the seed of Shared Frequency — where past, present, and future interlace into one living current, revealing and anchoring humans shared purpose with their animal(s) on Earth.
